A $1,000,000 Phase II SBIR grant from the NSF advances Alerje's efforts to support food allergy immunotherapy, employing a patent-pending AI-driven platform. Alerje's Phase I supported platform, already demonstrating a strong interest in the field, offers potential for broader collaboration and integration in the healthcare ecosystem, reflecting its potential to personalize treatment approaches for food allergy families worldwide.

Over 4,000 companies and 1,500 startups across 25 technological specialties are exhibiting at this year’s CES, with many digital health companies promoting new technologies. Digital health technologies are growing in interest at CES, which will have more than 130,000 attendees in person. Hundreds of digital health companies are touting their technologies at the show this year, including brain-computer interfaces and more non-invasive diagnostics. Earlier this month, Alerje was one of 8 companies selected for the 2018 MedTech Innovator Chicago Regional Pitch Competition. We had the opportunity to present to and receive feedback from judges including investors, providers, and senior executives from leading medtech companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Baxter, Molex, and many others. Based on feedback, there's a chance that we could be selected to advance to participate in the MedTech Innovator Accelerator and/or Showcase Program. Alerje happened to place in the top 3 at this event, so we're hopeful we'll be given the opportunity to move forward!
